Crime of the Week On Sunday, January 12, 2003 at about 2:00 a.m., Latish Hawkins, age 17, was murdered. She was shot several times by an unknown suspect while sitting in a car between Crater Road and Old Church St. Rhonda Brown, 18 years old, was shot once; she survived. Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call Crime Solvers. Crime Solvers pays rewards of up to $1,000 in cash for information that leads to an arrest. If you have information about any crime or fugitive in the Petersburg or Dinwiddie area, call Crime Solvers at 861-1212.
