Crime of the Week On Sunday, September 24, 2000, at approx. 8:17 am, the Petersburg Police Department responded to Spring Street. Upon arrival, they found 82 year old Claiborne T. Holloway lying on the ground dead. Mr. Holloway's cause of death was attributed to multiple stab wounds. The only suspect information at this time is a black male last seen wearing a white tee shirt. The suspect was seen fleeing the scene on a bicycle, southbound on Spring Street. Crime Solvers pays rewards of up to $1,000 in cash for information that leads to an arrest.
