This week Crime Solvers needs your help to solve a daytime robbery in Petersburg.

Shortly after 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 19th, 2 men robbed Kirkpatrick's Pharmacy located in the 500 block of South Sycamore Street.

Both suspects are described as black males with medium builds and thin mustaches. The suspect that displayed a gun and did the talking during the robbery had a light complexion and was wearing a red cap and a black T-shirt. He had the clerk put the money from the register into a black Nike bag. The second suspect had a dark complexion, wore a white cap, white T-shirt, and grey sweat pants.

This week Crime Solvers is asking for your help to locate a violent fugitive - KELLY RAMAR THOMAS.

Warrants are on file in Petersburg charging MR. THOMAS with attempted murder in connection with a home invasion that occurred at about 3:00 AM on April 12th at a residence in the 200 block of St. Andrew Street. He has been identified as the one who actually fired the shot at the occupant.

KELLY THOMAS is a 26 year old black male, 6'3" tall, weighing about 230 lbs. He has listed several different addresses in the Petersburg and Richmond area. Police consider him to be ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

This week Crime Solvers is asking for your help to locate a missing person from Dinwiddie County - LEIGHA DIANE DIX.

MS. DIX was last seen by friends in the late evening hours of Thursday, May 3rd in Northern Dinwiddie County. She has not contacted anyone since that time. Her car was found abandoned at a shopping center parking lot in Chester on Sunday, May 5th with numerous personal items still inside.

LEIGHA DIX is a 22 year old white female, 5'6" tall, about 140 lbs. She has a tattoo of a tiger on her lower back and the name "KEANDRA" on her upper left arm.

Crime Solvers pays rewards of up to $1,000.00 in cash for information that leads to an arrest. LEIGHA's family has posted an additional reward for information that leads to her whereabouts. An unsolved murder in Petersburg is the focus of this week's Crime Solvers spot and we are again asking for your help.

Shortly after 12:30 AM on Friday, February 20th, police responded to a 9-1-1 call about a motor vehicle accident in the 1800 block of Oakland Street. Responding officers found that an older model, maroon Chevy Lumina - traveling at a high rate of speed - struck a parked car.

As rescue workers carefully removed the injured driver from the car, they discovered that he had been shot. The young man, ROBERT ALLEN THAYER, 19, was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at Southside Regional Medical Center.

Police have developed some promising leads in this case but we need more information in order to make an arrest.

The search for a violent fugitive is the focus of this week's Crime Solvers spot.

A warrant is on file in Petersburg charging SHAWN LEE RIVES with felony assault in connection with an incident that occurred on the night of February 10th at Lucky's Convenience Store in the City's West end.

SHAWN LEE RIVES is a 26 year old black male, 6'2" tall, about 170 lbs. His last known address was at the Summit Point apartment complex. He may be operating a 1998 olive green Ford Crown Victoria bearing Virginia License #KFD-9000.
