Crime Solvers is asking for your help to locate a young man who was reported missing in Dinwiddie County several months ago.

At about 10:30 PM on Saturday, February 9th, GERALD RANDELL MARION left a house party at a friend's home on Ferndale Circle in the North end of the County. He rode off alone into a wooded area on his 3 wheel all-terrain-vehicle. Several hours later, when he had not returned, he was reported missing. Authorities found the 3 wheeler at about 6:30 AM that morning in an old canal near the Appomattox River - less than 200 yards from the scene of the party. No other trace of MR. MARION has been found despite an exhaustive search effort that has included dive teams and tracking dogs.

An armed robbery in broad daylight in Petersburg is the focus of this week's Crime Solvers spot.

At 11:15 AM on Tuesday, March 18th, a lone gunman entered Bristow's Market located at 1105 West Washington Street. He went directly to the cashier and demanded money. When she opened the register, the suspect climbed over the counter and took the money himself before fleeing.

This suspect is described as a dark complected black male about 5'9" tall with a thin build. He was wearing a ¾ length coat, jeans and a stocking cap - all in dark colors. He had the lower part of his face covered with a camouflage bandana. The silver gun he carried was possibly a cut down rifle.

A second subject was seen running from the scene with the gunman. He is described as a black male about 18 years old wearing a black skull cap and a tan jacket with words printed on the left side of the back.

Crime Solvers pays rewards of up to $1,000.00 in cash for information that leads to an arrest.
