SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

On 8/28/08 ANTHONY WAYNE BUTCHER was arrested in Prince George County,Virginia.
This was a joint operation involving the following law enforcement agencies: Petersburg, VA Police Department, Dept. of Corrections Fugitive Recovery Unit, U. S. Marshal Service, Virginia State Police, and Prince George County Police.

The suspect was arrested on the following outstanding Petersburg PD felony warrants:
1. Attempted Murder
2. Aggravated Assault
3. Shooting into a occupied automobile
4. Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
5. Possessing a firearm as a convicted felon ( 2 of this warrant )

ANTHONY WAYNE BUTCHER was processed and incarcerated on " No Bond " status at the Petersburg City Jail.

This week Crime Solvers is asking for the public’s assistance in solving a break in. On August 7, at approx 5:00 a.m. Sutherland Pharmacy located on Route 460 in the Sutherland area of Dinwiddie County was broken into. The front door was forced open and thieves made off with narcotic medications valued in excess of $30,000.00. Investigators have learned that an older model, white pickup with a ladder rack was seen in the area of the pharmacy at the time of the break in and may have left the area traveling east on Route 460.

This week, Crime Solvers needs your help to bring a fugitive to justice.

Anthony Wayne Butcher, also known as,"Hank", is a 25 year old medium dark complexion male standing 6'4'', 190 pounds. His last known address was on High Pearl Street in Petersburg. Butcher has 6 felony warrants for firearms, assault, and other charges. He is known to use rental cars and any information about the individuals helping Butcher obtain those vehicles is also of interest to police.

This week Crime Solvers needs your help with two fugitives wanted for armed robbery, abduction, and aggravated assault in Petersburg. J'Mai Lynnice Anderson and Delvonta Finney conspired to rob and abduct a victim on July 23 inside 530 E. Washington Street. Others involved in this crime have already been arrested.

J'Mai Lynnice Anderson is 20 years old. She has a medium brown complexion. J'Mai Anderson is 5'2", 190 pounds. J'Mai is known to wear wigs and braids.

Delvonta Finney is also 20 years old. He has a medium brown complexion, is 5'8", 170 pounds. He is also known as "Little Finney". Finney also has warrants for an abduction, robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a felon for a crime committed on the evening of August 6, 2008 that occurred at the Landmark Apartments in Stately Court. He forced a victim at gunpoint to drive to an ATM and withdraw money. He also took the victim's compact disc and jewelry. Finny is also wanted in an armed robbery in Pin Oaks.

These two are considered armed and very dangerous.
